Online Learning Videos on Diet & Nutrition
Nutritional training video
Homestart is a network of trained volunteers who provide families with expert support and advice, and they asked Magneto to make them a series of charity training videos to help deliver nutritional information to their team via online learning.
This elearning project was supported by Waitrose and the John Lewis Partnership who provided not only an amazing chef and a nutritionist but also a location in one of their training kitchens. We worked with them to create a series of scripts that combined nutritional information and also inspiring recipes as well as easy to follow cook along videos.
Charity and retailer partnership
On the shoot the teams from the charity and the retailer worked seamlessly in front of the camera, with a nutritionist talking us through the essentials of a healthy diet, tips on eating less meat, and understanding labels and packaging information. We supported this with a range of graphics, stills and info-graphics. Also on hand was a trained chef, who demonstrated a range of key skills and showed how to cook a number of healthy but super tasty recipes.
London video production
The shoot took place over a couple of days at the Waitrose Cookery School in London, and we were able to make full use of an amazing training kitchen, hosted by a Becca – one of their chef-tutors – and other locations such as cafe areas and restaurant tables to ensure that the films looked good and offered visual variety.
