Working at Magneto Films

We’re always interested in hearing from talented producers, directors and editors who’ve got track records in producing branded content. We have a small roster of freelancers and we’re open to meeting new talent.

We also regularly host work experience placements that allow participants to work alongside our team observing all aspects of the production process. These are limited to a week and must be part of an educational course.

Film maker or videographer

Magneto Films are looking for a mid-level videographer or film maker to join our expanding team. We work mainly with charities and healthcare providers, making a variety of films from case studies to fundraising or brand films.

We’re looking for a creative and experienced film maker who can produce and direct films to a high standard. You’ll have at least 3 years experience of producing and directing on-line films and branded content. We’re particularly interested in hearing from people who’ve worked full-time in an agency or in-house at a charity.

The successful candidate will either be a skilled self-shooter or a competent editor, with knowledge of Premiere Pro.

As a film maker you’ll be involved all the way through the production process, from initial contact with clients, producing and pitching creative treatments, all the way through to directing the shoot and overseeing post production.

We can offer interesting and meaningful work, producing video content for some of the UK largest charities.

You’ll be joining a cheerful and engaged team of highly experienced producer/directors, editors and junior film makers.

Magneto Films is based in a purpose built studio in Brixton, with easy access to Tube and Overground.

This is a full time position, with an initial 3 month trial, leading to a 12 month contract.

Starting salary of between £25 – 30k depending on experience.

23 days paid holiday plus Bank Holidays.

Please send a CV detailing your experience along with a link to a show reel and a minimum of 3 films that you’ve made for a charity or brand.

The closing date for applications is 20th September 2018.
