Magneto Films is a Lincolnshire-based video production company offering corporate video production for organisations across Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and the wider East of England.
From our base near Spalding, we work with organisations across the region, with projects including films for the East of England Ambulance Service, Cambridge University Press, Alzheimer’s Research UK and the Refugee Council.
We also deliver video projects across the UK for charities, businesses and public sector organisations including the NHS, the National Lottery, Dementia UK, Ford, Bentley and the British Transport Police.

LAUNCHING A NEW RESEARCH FUND
Filmed on location at the Cambridge labs of Alzheimer’s Research UK, this film was commissioned to launch the Dementia Frontiers Fund: a new initiative designed to bring researchers around the world together to tackle the most urgent and complex questions in dementia research.

ILLUSTRATING & SHARING ACADEMIC RESEARCH
The Lincoln Institute for Rural and Coastal Health commissioned Magneto to photograph mental health support groups across the county to support and illustrate a major research grant application.
We spent 4 months researching and photographing in areas including Spalding, Lincoln, Boston and Holbeach, producing a suite of assets that included portraits, photo elicitation and documentary photographs that were submitted to the NIRH. The University was successful with its application, and the photographs were also exhibited at the University. We’re now working on the main research project. More here.

East of England Ambulance Service Trust
RECRUITMENT VIDEO FOR NHS TRUST
Filmed at their Norwich and Peterborough control rooms, this ‘fly-on-the-wall’ recruitment film uses live emergency calls and one-to-one interviews to give an insight into the skill, teamwork and satisfaction that comes from working in this demanding role.
EEAST needed a distinctive recruitment film to help attract ambulance dispatch staff across the East of England. By showing the reality of the job and hearing directly from the people who do it, the film provides an authentic view of this vital service.

TELLING THEIR STORY TO NEW PEOPLE
This national charity asked us to make a brand video that would explain their long history and the work that they do. We came up with a concept that highlights the simple things that connect us – from a cup of tea to a warm smile – that are the same in any language.
Filmed on locations that included Norfolk and Lincolnshire, we also produced still photography to accompany the campaign. More details here.

This international publisher commissioned Magneto to make a suite of videos to support their on-line English Language courses. Shot on location in Cambridge, featuring a combination of actors and language students, these films illustrate the examination process.

Magneto Films is an experienced video production company based in Lincolnshire, working with organisations across Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and the wider East of England.
For over 15 years we have produced films for public sector organisations, charities, not-for-profits and businesses, creating hundreds of videos that help organisations communicate their work, explain complex issues and connect with their audiences.
Before establishing Magneto Films, our team built careers in broadcast television, producing programmes for the BBC, Channel 4 and other major broadcasters, including prime-time factual and documentary programmes. That experience informs everything we make today: strong storytelling, authentic voices and films that engage viewers.
