Patient information video production

Target Ovarian Cancer commissioned Magneto Films to produce a series of patient information films to help women who have been newly diagnosed with ovarian cancer. The films needed to be helpful and informative, and to give clear and accurate advice to women who may be experiencing a stressful and worrying situation. The films needed to inlcude both expert advice from medical experts and also the experience of women who have had treatment for this type of cancer.

We created a suite of videos that each focus on a single topic, making it easy to find information on a specific topic, and a making each subject easy to understand and remember. The films offer clear information delivered by 2 medical experts, and also feature insightful comments and conversation from women who have lived experience of ovarian cancer.

Training video

Video is an ideal medium to help patients understand their conditions, what to expect from treatment and accurate medical information about the disease. We worked closely with the clients and their medical team to create a scripts and bullet points for each film, and we then filmed 2 cancer specialists explaining things like the diagnosis, what ovarian cancer is, and a typical treatment pathway.

Patient experience

To add a personal perspective to the medical information, we filmed a chatty conversation between 3 women who are living with ovarian cancer, capturing their honest experiences and giving a personal understanding of the disease. To add depth and more information, each of the women gave one on one interviews, explaining their journey and how they’d coped.
