Public sector video production

The British Transport Police commissioned Magneto to create a social media marketing video to help them recruit new applicants for their Special Constables team. They particularly wanted to target younger women as they are currently under represented in this group. We helped them create an impactful video that features 3 special constables talking about the challenges, satisfaction and skills they’ve experienced or gained as part of their volunteer work. We combined an intimate round table discussion with frank and open interviews direct to camera.

Recruitment video

We frequently make public sector recruitment videos for a range of government organisations, and we make sure that we bring fresh ideas and creativity to each production. For this recruitment film we based our idea on the real lived experience of Special Constables, and made sure that we reflected the target audience in the video.

Video for social media marketing

This film was designed to be used as a social media marketing campaign, so we ensured that it was bold and strong, with an attention grabbing opening sequence, big close-ups of faces to attract viewers and easy to read graphics. We also supplied a range of cut lengths – 15 seconds, 30 seconds and 60 seconds – and in a variety of apect ratios including 1×1 and 9×16 to match various platforms.
