Why video works for NHS organisations

NHS training video: Imperial College Healthcare
A training film designed to help staff reduce the risk of falls among people with learning disabilities in hospital. The film uses clear, practical guidance to support staff in providing safer, more appropriate care.
Patient information video: Guy’s and St Thomas’ Renal Unit
A series of patient information films helping people newly diagnosed with kidney failure understand their treatment, meet the renal team and hear from other patients. More info
Service explanation video: South London and Maudsley
A film introducing the Assertive Alcohol Outreach Team and explaining how the service works. Case studies show the difference the team makes to people experiencing alcohol dependence.
Health training videos: Asthma + Lung UK
A series of exercise training films for people with breathing difficulties. We worked closely with physiotherapists and medical professionals to develop clear, accessible and clinically accurate guidance, from warm-ups through to detailed exercises. More info

This national cancer charity commissioned us to mark what would have been Anthony Nolan’s 50th birthday. The film brings together Anthony’s story, the experiences of people helped by the charity and the research made possible by donations. More info

A film helping staff understand Frimley Health’s plans for the next five years. We brought together staff, patients and partners with interviews, graphics and visualisations to communicate a complex strategy in a clear and engaging way. More info
TV Advert: NHS Charities Together
A brand film for a coalition of more than 230 NHS charities, created to explain who they are, what they do and who they help. Working to a tight budget, we combined striking stills, a focused script and bold graphics. More info

About Magneto Films: Health and NHS video production
Magneto Films is an experienced health video production company, making films for NHS organisations, health charities and public sector organisations across the UK. Our work covers patient information, professional training, recruitment, internal communications, service explanation and health education.
We have extensive experience working with challenging and sensitive subjects, including alcohol dependence, severe mental health, dementia, learning disabilities and end-of-life care. We understand that filming in healthcare environments requires sensitivity, patience and good judgement, particularly when working with patients, families and people with additional needs.
Our training and information films cover complex subjects including cardiac resuscitation, falls prevention, nutrition and clinical care.
